OneFi Technology, Inc. (ONFI.PK) is a WiMax company developing broadband networks that are capable of 4G compatible (4th generation capability). Recently, the company has announced that it projects revenues to exceed $20,000,000 for the 3rd quarter ending September 30, 2009. Does that sound believable for you?

Unfortunately, the stock price changes alike have never made me say “Oh la la.” On the opposite, I try searching what is wrong with a company under the circumstances. In the case of ONFI I have found that it paid OTC Reporter 1 million free trading shares. Some time earlier Stock Stars received $7,500, while Willy Wizard got $1,000. Hence the sudden jump out of the blue sky isn’t coincidence.

Kat Exploration Inc. (KATX.PK) mainly focuses on Sediment-Hosted Stratiform Copper Deposits in the eastern portion of the province. The company has also a great interest in gold properties in and around the central area of the province.

However, it seems that KATX does not get any recognition from investors. Thus it has been involved in the campaign of stock promotion. Yesterday it paid $10,000 to Cool Penny Stocks. The company is trying to attract more potential investors in this way.

All in all, the stock seems to be affected. After the last trade it jumped up by almost 20%, and is now trading around 0.47. If you looked at the stock chart of the company, you would notice that it is highly illiquid. In teh end of February, the stock managed to reach the value of almost $60. Yesterday the stock price floated up by 60%. However, the stock price is still at $0.0035. In addition, the volume of the stock seems to have gone crazy, it was 310,336,537.

All in all, the only reasonable explanation is the stock promotional campaign. After taking a deeper analysis, I have found that IGNT paid 15 million free trading shares to OTC Reporter, while earlier StockStars.net got $7,500.
