I'm not saying that AFTC does not have a ways to progres in the finance department, they surely do. However, the fact that they have just 4 employees shows that they are keeping the books tight until commerical systems ship, they hope in 2011.
In addition, I share your sentiment with regard to this being a risky investment, as all stocks on the pink sheet exchange tend to be. That being said, I am impressed that they have actually fulfilled a deal with Volvo worth more than $1M and also shipped systems Korean Institute for Energy Research. This proves to me that they are making things work with only 4 employees on the books.
In my opinion, AFTC is accomplishing quite a bit and showing a great deal of promise, particularly for a company on the pinks. I would maybe agree with your comment about the company not having enough people to account for operations commenced if the company had not already fulfilled two contracts of such great importance. Just my two cents, but there is a lot more here to consider than the fact that AFTC employs just 4 people. I'd much rather see them working with 4 great employees than burning cash before their business plan comes to fruition.
