A company that has had one of the more impressive falls, finally caught something of a break yesterday.
Westmont Resources Inc. (PINK:WMNS) had tried almost every promoter out there with very limited success if any. Yesterday, however, after this promotion, WMNS managed to get 15.85% in the right direction. The price at the end settled at $0.095, but the most impressive aspect of the session was the all-time volume high of approximately 2.6 million shares.

News of a signed Memorandum of Understanding between WESTRN SIERRA NEW (PINK:WSRA) and Enviroxtract, Inc. (OTC: EVXA) pushed the stock of the former significantly up. As a consequence, not only did it double its value closing at $0.01 per share, but also its trading volume soared high, hitting a 52-week record. What is more, of the 14.12 million shares that changed hands yesterday, over 3 million were generated in short sales.
