On the last trading session, Cerro Dorado Inc. (PINK:CDCH) stock went up by 5% and reached a share price of $0.21. Trading volume was significantly higher than the average value, bulging up to more than 4 million.
The upward procession of CDCH started shortly after an announcement was made on Dec. 28. On the next day the stock price surged up by almost 77% and reached an all-time record volume of 5.6 million. The next two days the stock continued to appreciate and thus reached its highest value since its existence on the stock market.
As it was already mention, last week CDCH awarded fortunes to those who hold long positions in the stock due to a publication about its activity over at Alto de Lipangue property in Chile. The announcement revealed that a joint venture agreement on the property was about to be closed on or before Jan. 15. After this date the company would announce additional details about the deal.
If this announcement sounds familiar, it is not without a reason. The same press release was issues by Medinah Minerals Inc., which is a sister company of CDCH. The companies have two adjacent properties in Alto de Lipangue project in Chile and both are focused on discovering gold, copper or silver veins.
Furthermore, it appears that CDCH is unwilling to let the public eyes peek into its financial documentation. The company has never filed any report to clarify its health condition. But judging by the financial state of its sister company, MDMN, one would conclude that there are no reasons to deem that CDCH would be in a better shape.
So far, the investors, who for some reason have been attracted by the company, have been playing with the CDCH stock partly blindfolded. Forum discussions reveal that most of them are convinced that CDCH is copying MDMN chart pattern with a delay which is a great source of speculation. However, the important thing is not whether this is true or not, but the fact that the company hasn't put any effort in its almost 12-year existence to prove that it actually means to do real business.
