Incorporated in Colorado in 2005, Banneker, Inc. (BANI.PK) engages in manufacturing and designing watches. The company seems to be caring about its clients and is trying to attract all age groups. However, this company has turned on me not because of the watches but rather of the stock promotional campaign. During one day, Banneker spend $45.000 for different companies. Take a look at the following list:

• Hototc.com has been compensated $15.000 to promote BANI.
• Stock Head has been compensated $15.000 to promote BANI.
• Inside Move has been compensated $15.000 to promote BANI.

In total, that’s $45.000. Is it much or not, I will let you decide yourselves.

U.S. Mine Makers, Inc. (USMM.PK) is a mining and exploration company using “eco-friendly” technology to recover precious metals such as gold and platinum group metals from high grade ore concentrate and rock. This business really seems to be friendly but one thing that stroke my eye was the involvement in the stock promotions. This does not look so nice to investors. OTC Picks has been compensated $145.000 to promote U.S. Mine Makers.

Monogram Energy, Inc. (MGRN.PK), an independent energy company engaged in the acquisition, development, and exploitation of oil and gas properties, announced that it has entered into the negotiations for an additional oil lease in Texas. At the same time, OTC Picks has been compensated 50.000 free trading shares from non-controlling third party to promote MGRN. I’m curiuos what happened first…stock promotion or negotiations?

Do you still remember Copper King Mining Corporation (CPRK.PK)? It was introduced in the stock promotions, later in the high volume stocks. Today we again return to this company in order to see how the stock promotion is continuing in a greater force. So let’s see. OTC Picks has been compensated $16.500 dollars by a third party to promote CPRK. Well, if we compare it with the promotion of $5.000 on January, that’s almost three times more. The promotion is expanding, in my opinion.

Today I have decided to write about several companies. The first one is Marine Exploration, Inc. (MEXP.PK), a development stage company engaging in marine treasure hunting expeditions. Lately, I just found the information that the company acquired the Ocean Lady, a 128 foot, 252 ton research vessel. However, no news are published on the business of the company. All in all, I can tell you that Marine is involved in the stock promotions with Best China Stocks, as well as HotStocksrus.com. I am not sure how much the company paid them but OTC Picks has been compensated 40.000 shares from a third party to promote MEXP. That’s about $2.000 if we take the share price of $0.05. I will let you decide, whether that’s much or not.
